They 2 medications work together by blocking the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone by the way of inhibiting the enzymes involved in the production known as 5 alpha – reductase.

Dutasteride works on type 1 and type 2 – 5 alpha reductase inhibitors where are finasteride only works on type 2.

Combining use of both medications together can ensure that both pathways are blocked from producing excess DHT, which is believed to be the primary cause of male pattern baldness.

How long will It take to see the results from using their product and how do I use this product?

 It usually takes around  3 to 4 months to see results. Consistency is the key to the success. To obtain the best result, it is important to use it every day. It is recommended to use it in the evening and wash your hair in the morning (no need to use shampoo every time. Rinsing out with water will be fine).

Can I use this product with other products such as minoxdil?

If you decide to use minoxdil as well as this product, we would recommend to use a high strength minoxdil product in the morning and this product in the evening.

However research has shown that the use of topical finasteride can reduce un wanted side effects as it only has a topical effect rather than a systemic effect.

When Finasteride is taken orally it’s not only effects DHT levels on the scalp it can also effect level in the blood serum, which ultimately can lead to rare but common side effects such as low libido issues. It has been found that topical use of Finasteride has less of an effect on DHT serum levels and for this reason could reduce the risk of side effects.
