Nizoral anti-dandruff treatment 2% Ketoconazole shampoo 60ml
£19.99
Targeted treatment for dandruff, scalp irritation and a healthier environment for hair growth.
Nizoral 2% Shampoo contains ketoconazole 2%, an antifungal medicine used to treat and help prevent dandruff and seborrhoeic dermatitis. By controlling the yeast associated with these scalp conditions, Nizoral can help reduce flaking, itching, redness and scalp irritation.
Why scalp health matters for hair loss
Persistent dandruff and seborrhoeic dermatitis can cause inflammation, irritation and increased scratching, potentially contributing to temporary increased hair shedding in some people. Keeping the scalp healthy and controlling inflammation can therefore form an important part of a comprehensive hair-loss programme.
Ketoconazole has also been investigated for its potential role in androgen-related hair loss. However, Nizoral 2% is not licensed as a treatment for male or female pattern hair loss, and it should not be presented as a replacement for established hair-loss treatments.
